Universal fit kits to allow you to fit KRS's popular Minirack roof bars to most pop-top (elevating) camper roofs, including HiLo, SCA and Reimo.

We recommend that these kits be fitted by a professional camper van conversion specialist, although it is not outside the scope of a competent DIYer with the correct tools and materials; the kits can be screwed and/or bonded to the pop-top roof but some drilling of the roof and rails will be necessary. Full installation instructions will be supplied.

PLEASE CHECK WITH THE MANUFACTURER AND/OR FITTER OF THE POP-TOP ROOF THAT IT IS SUITABLE FOR FITMENT OF THIS KIT. Some manufacturers may invalidate warranties if the roof is modified or added to. Approximate weights of the kits are 12Kg for the 2-bar kit and 15Kg for the 3-bar kit - ensure that any gas-struts or springs used to erect the roof will be strong enough to continue to function with the kit fitted.

Volkswagen's ever-popular Transporter T4 has a huge following, particularly in the leisure market, but there are still a good number in various states of repair doing the rounds as trader's vans!

Unfortunately, despite being a pretty ground-breaking vehicle when it was launched to critical acclaim in 1991, the T4 never featured dedicated roof-rack mounts. This means that choice of roof racks is limited to clamp-on items for use with rails (such as our own AXB range), or nasty fabricated steel items which soon rust and look shabby.

Our NEW Minirack bars for the T4 widen the choice a little. Like all our Minirack bars, they come pre-assembled, but you will need to drill the roof drainage channels and fit M6 threaded inserts such as "Riv-Nuts" to allow the roof bars to be fitted. We recommend that this be carried out by a competent body-shop or vehicle conversion specialist.
