Not exactly - we do manufacture some special parts for certain customers, but these are not usually available to the general public.

Simple answer - cost. Every credit/debit card transaction that we do would cost us 3% of the total order price if we were to use our service providers facilities. We already operate on very tight margins to give you the best value for money, so we aren't prepared to stand that cost. If you have a PayPal account, then you CAN pay by the card registered to that account.

Yes. Put the items that you require in your shopping cart and select one of the alternative payment methods at checkout. If you select "Invoice" we will issue an invoice within 24 hours. You can then call us and pay over the phone with your debit/credit card (NOT Amex) - perversely doing it this way hardly costs us anything in commission!!

We can also accept cheques, but we must insist on cheques clearing before goods are dispatched.

In the UK, all our Roof Bar kits, Gripper safety steps and Bazooka Pipe Tubes are sent out by Aspray24 Next Day service. 99% of the time these do arrive next working day, so you SHOULD get your goods the working day AFTER we send our notification of dispatch. (Please note that days classed as Bank Holidays are NOT working days).

All other items are sent via Hermes Standard Delivery. This can take 3 - 4 working days for the delivery to be made after the dispatch notice, although in practice we tend to find that 2 - 3 working days is more the norm.

These time scales only apply to England, Wales and Scotland South of the Glasgow-Edinburgh belt, not including Dumfries & Galloway or Ayrshire. In the Scottish Highlands, D&G, Ayrshire and Northern Ireland, Aspray24 usually deliver within 2 -3 days. For deliveries to the European Union, offshore parts of the UK (such as the Channel Islands or Shetland), we use DHL Express. This can take up to 7 days.

For international deliveries outside of the EU, we use whichever carrier gives us the best value on the goods we are sending. In this case we will usually use DHL, TNT or UPS. These services can take up to 10 days depending upon final destination.

Yes, but we can ONLY accept card payments this way. You must also make an appointment with us to collect so that we can have everything ready for you.

Within the UK, we normally send all orders OTHER than steps or roof-bar kits via Hermes or other discount carrier. Domestic delivery addresses are not a problem for these items. Roof-bars and steps are sent on Aspray24, a specialist carrier which allows us to send large and bulky items at low cost, but domestic addresses can sometimes be an issue. If at all possible, please supply an alternative delivery address to a commercial or public premises for these items. Some examples that you could use are -

• Your local pub, newsagent/corner shop, or garage
• Your own commercial premises, or those of a trusted supplier or client
• An address where you are currently working
• Your child's school

We've even had items delivered to people on holiday on campsites and holiday parks, so that works too!!

If you can't supply an alternative delivery address, we will always contact you to work out suitable delivery arrangements and/or fix clear instructions for the delivery driver to the outside of the package(s) to contact you or us if necessary.

Yes. We generally use TNT or UPS for shipping outside the UK, although there are some items that we cannot send. These are usually noted in their store listing and are generally length-dependent.
